Farm Experiences, Trail Walks, Nature Events and Fun!

Families, friends, and tour groups can enjoy a fun and enriching Farm Experience in a safe and friendly environment at Bluebird Trail Farm.

Located a short distance from Corning, New York, the 25-Acre Farm is home to more than 15 different humanely raised friendly farm animals, including miniature horses, donkeys, alpaca, sheep, goats, bunnies and peafowl.

Bluebird Trail Farm Animal Interactions

The farm hosts a large CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and is committed to growing fruits and vegetables responsibly and sustainably while also protecting the natural environment. This year's CSA is called “Come and Grow With Us.” Members receive weekly shares of fresh naturally-grown produce, eggs, honey and flowers, while also learning and growing with Bluebird Trail's farm community.

Visitors may enjoy a walk on the picturesque mile-long Bluebird Trail and observe a variety of native birds, plants, and wildlife. Along the way, stop by the apiary and watch the honeybees hard at work and feed the ducks in the pond. Walk over the bridge to the Wildflower Trail and gather a bouquet of native wildflowers. Then, visit the vegetable gardens and raspberry patch to pick and enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables in season.

Beekeeping

The Forest Garden Fairy Trail is sure to delight and entertain young children who can hunt for gemstones and fairy houses.

The farm offers many opportunities seasonally to engage with and enjoy nature in a safe and friendly environment. Weekly storybook walks delight children of all ages; summer arts classes and monthly special events allow visitors to enjoy experiences like planting a strawberry pot, creating a garden steppingstone, or enjoying a sunset farm walk to help the farmers put the animals to bed.
